Dave Thul spent a decade in Minnesota Republican Party politics, serving as county and congressional district chairman, and on the MNGOP state executive committee. He publicly resigned in protest when Donald Trump became the Republican nominee for president in May of 2016.
Dave served 22 years in the Minnesota Army National Guard, with deployments to Kosovo and Iraq, before retiring in 2014. He now serves his fellow Veterans as a leader in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and is a board member of the Minnesota Veterans of Foreign Wars Charitable Association. He works in supply chain as a logistics manager.
