Reed is the Director of Communications at the Institute of Politics and Public Service, overseeing communication strategy, press relations, brand management, and digital and social media.
Prior to joining GU Politics, Reed was a member of the Lincoln Project’s Virginia Steering Committee, the co-founder of the organization Biden Republicans, a convention speaker at the Niskanen Center and Stand Up Republic’s Convention on Founding Principles, and a founding member of the Summit on Principled Conservatism. Reed previously worked in the Virginia Senate and as a campaign manager to state and local elected officials.
Beyond politics, Reed served as a minister at Central United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. He studied ethics and moral leadership at Emory University where he received a Master of Divinity degree and holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Reed serves as a chaplain in residence at Georgetown University in New South Hall.
